Judging will take place on Sunday, January 17th on private sessions on Zoom. Only one team member is required to submit the project on Devpost, but please include all teammate names in your submission. Afterwards, each team will be assigned a time slot to present to 4-5 judges consisting of UCLA alumni, professors, and corporate reps. Please remember your team number, as you will be asked for it! Each time slot will be 3 minutes presentation and 2 minutes Q&A, but this may be extended per category depending on the number of submissions per category.
- Attendees must be at IDEA Hacks to work on a project for submission.
- Attendees are not allowed to implement projects before hacking starts, but are free to brainstorm project ideas. Hacking officially begins at 9PM (PST) on January 15th, 2021 and ends at 9AM (PST) on January 17th, 2021.
- Attendees must develop projects using the parts provided at IDEA Hacks and cannot use another team's code. While usage of everday items and additional parts are encouraged, the judging will be primarily based on how well the base parts and speciality parts are incorporated.
